LOT OF SEVEN POTTERY STEINS & PITCHERS. 1) 7-3/4″ h Art Nouveau Doulton Lambeth pitcher with Majolica decoration having three panels in relief scenes of a man with others golfing. The bottom numbered “8487”. 2) 4-3/4″ h Doulton Lambeth cup matching the previous pitcher. Marked “9941”. 3) 8-1/2″ h blue & gray stoneware tankard having relief decoration of golfing scenes depicting a man swinging & his caddy. Bottom marked “Ges. Gesch. Germany 0 20”. The pitcher form tankard having a pewter lid and lion face thumb-lift. 4 & 5) Two 4-3/4″ h Jasperware green & white creamers, each having white scene of golfing. Bottoms marked “2296”. 6 & 7) Along with two 7-1/2″ h modern steins by Gerz, one with fishing motif & the other billiards. PROVENANCE: Robert Frederick Woolworth Estate, Monmouth, Maine. (F.W. Woolworth Store). CONDITION: 1 & 2) Very good. 3) Some dents in lid, otherwise very good. 4 & 5) Some yellowing on white decoration, small hairline to rim of one. 6 & 7) Very good. 9-23565-3 (500-800)
