TWO STEINS & A PITCHER RELATED TO GOLFING BY LENOX. Early 20th century. 1) Tall stein with pewter lid decorated in blue and white overall depicting a golfer preparing to swing. 2) Stein with silvered lid in blue and white decoration of a golfer addressing a ball. 3) Tall pitcher of a couple preparing to putt in underglaze green decoration. All three pieces carry the Lenox backstamp; two in blue and one in green. SIZE: 16-3/4″ h, 7″ h and 14-1/4″ h respectively. PROVENANCE: Robert Frederick Woolworth Estate, Monmouth, Maine. (F.W. Woolworth Store). CONDITION: 1) Very good. 2) Stein with chip at base rim. 3) Broken and reassembled. 9-23565 (700-900)
