PEANUT SIZE DERINGER PERCUSSION PISTOL. Cal. About 40. NSN. Tiny pocket sized pistol with 2-1/4″ ovoid shaped bbl with Deringer’s Philadelphia mark on top & “P” proof on left top flat and his usual marking on back action lock plate. Mounted in checkered walnut stock with German silver furniture & two silver bands on breech plug with a German silver front sight. CONDITION: Good to very good. No orig finish remains being a smooth blue/brown patina overall. Stock shows moderate to heavy wear with a small crack near tip along with a grain flaw.
