CHARLES PARKER T-LATCH LIFTER DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 666. Rare Meriden Mfg. Co. dbl built for Charles Parker with 27″ bbls, front action locks with light engraving, marked on both sides “MERIDEN MANFG. CO. / MERIDEN. CONN. / FOR / CHA’S PARKER”. Wood is nicely figured American walnut with uncheckered forearm & checkered straight stock, 13-3/4″ over a smooth steel buttplate. CONDITION: Very good. Bbls retain an even dark brown patina with scattered light surface rust. Lockplates & hammers retain traces of silvered casehardening with the balance gray metal color. Wood is sound and retains most of a professionally restored finish. Action is a little loose and the latch will not hold in the open position, otherwise mechanics are fine.
