RARE MODEL 1866 PARKER T-LIFTER DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 70. Made by Meriden Mfg. Co. for Charles Parker. This rare shotgun has 26-1/8″ steel bbls with smooth rib & sgl bead. Receiver, lockplates & hammer are lightly engraved with foliate arabesque patterns. Wood is nicely figured American walnut with smooth forearm & checkered straight stock, 13-5/8″ over a smooth steel buttplate. CONDITION: Metal retains a mottled silver/brown patina with some heavy crusting on the bbls. Wood is sound with a bruise in the buttstock & freshened checkering, retaining most of a professionally restored finish. Right extractor will occasionally slip & jam the action, otherwise mechanics are fine, and dark, pitted bores. 5-60488 JR155 (750-1,250)
