EARLY PARKER MODEL T LIFTER HAMMER DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 10 ga. SN 2287. Early Parker with 28-7/8″ Damascus bbls that do not appear to have been cut as they are touching at the muzzle. They have smooth tapered concave rib with the maker’s name at the breech end. Receiver & lockplates have light border engraving with the maker’s name on each side. Wood is nicely figured American walnut with checkered splinter forearm and rnd knob pistol grip stock, 13-7/8″ over a smooth steel buttplate. CONDITION: Good to very good. Bbls retain 70-75% orig Damascus pattern with brown patina & scattered light surface rust. Receiver & lockplates are mottled silver/brown patina. Stock has a hairline back of the right lockplate, otherwise the wood is sound showing heavy wear with a dark patina. Mechanics are fine, dark pitted bores. 5-60340 JR64 (500-1,000)
