COLT M1849 POCKET REVOLVER. SN 214272, matching including wedge. Some screws are replaced. Cal. .31. 4” oct bbl. CONDITION: Bbl marking is about half missing, but retains most of the blue in the area where the marking is missing, indicating that it has been re-blued. 50% casehardening on the sides of the frame and loading lever. Cylinder is bare but has a good scene. Grips are worn at the base but retains much of the varnish elsewhere. The backstrap and trigger guards retain traces of heavily tarnished silver.
