EARLY PARKER LIFTER HAMMER DBL BBL SHOTGUN.

EARLY PARKER LIFTER HAMMER DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 10 ga. SN 10644. Usual configuration with 28-1/8″ Damascus bbls that may have been trimmed a long time ago. It has concave, tapered, smooth rib with sgl bead. Receiver & lockplates have light patterns of arabesque engraving & a fine border pattern. Wood is nicely grained American walnut with checkered splinter forearm secured with sgl wedge & semi-pistol grip stock, 14-3/8″ over a smooth steel buttplate. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Bbls retain about 95% brown Damascus pattern that may be a restoration. Receiver & lockplates are a cleaned metal color with some sanding marks. Trigger guard is refinished. Wood is sound & retains most of an old refinish. Fine mechanics, lightly pitted bright bores. 5-60336 JR60 (750-1,250)
