FINE AMERICAN VICTORIAN CHILD’S MARBLE TOP TABLE. Circa 3rd quarter 19th century. This rare turtle-top example in oak with original white marble retains its old original surface. The marble top with beveled edge above the conforming apron, incise-carved with geometric designs, joined by 4 spool-turned supports, fitted with a medial conforming shelf with spool turned gallery raised on 4 incurved, reeded legs with square platform feet. Mounted with reeded rosettes. SIZE: 23″ h x 28-1/2″ l x 19-3/4″ w. CONDITION: Table retains original finish now dried and in need of repolishing. Marble is original and without damage.
