PARKER $50 GRADE LIFTER HAMMER DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 6012. Built on about a #2 frame with 30″ steel bbls choked IMP-CYL/IMP-CYL with smooth rib, sgl bead & extractors. Lockplates have the maker’s name on each side. Wood is nicely figured American walnut with checkered forearm with wedge & straight stock, 14-1/4″ over a smooth steel buttplate. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbls retain 92-94% orig blue with minor nicks & scratches. Receiver retains traces of case colors in sheltered areas & the lockplates about 50% dark faded case colors. Forearm has two replaced slivers at the tip and shows heavy wear, freshened checkering & most of a restored finish. Stock is sound with a bruise on the wrist and a couple of gouges on the butt with usual handling & use marks. Retains most of its orig varnish. Mechanics are fine, moderate to heavy pitting in the bores. 5-60380 JR98 (1,250-1,750)
