ATTRIBUTED TO ALEXANDER HELWIG WYANT (American, 1836-1892) SPRING LANDSCAPE. Oil on canvas scene shows a woman on path tending to a small herd of cows in a sun drenched pasture lined with trees. Water and red farmhouse are seen beyond and through the trees. Sky has darkening clouds with some blue patches. Unsigned. Housed in a fine period arts & crafts style gilt frame. SIZE: 18” x 30”. CONDITION: Very good. Relined on new stretcher, restored with inpainting. 9-74358 LG (4,000-6,000)
