ALTERED SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. 45LC. SN 24745 on the frame and triggerguard, 162332 on the backstrap with no visible numbers on the bbl or cylinder. 4-3/4″ rnd bbl has no markings. The ejector rod housing has been modified with a brass extension at the rear. The grips and cylinder pin are replacements. Spurious “US” markings have been added to the left side of the frame. Accompanied by a Colt Factory letter identifying this revolver with bbl length & type of stocks not listed, shipped Oct. 9, 1876 to Schuyler, Hartley & Graham, New York, NY in a shipment of 50 guns. CONDITION: Retains about half of the reblue finish. Grips are very good. Ejector rod housing is loose but the action is functional. 4-56622 (700-1,000)
