EARLY PARKER GRADE 1 TOP LEVER DAMASCUS HAMMER DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 28251. Built on a #1 frame with 30″ twist bbls, smooth rib with sgl bead, doll’s head & extractors. Receiver, lockplates & hammer have fine line border engraving with the maker’s name on each side. Wood is straight grain American walnut with splinter forearm and straight stock, 14-1/4″ over a smooth steel buttplate. CONDITION: Fair to good. Bbls retain 40-50% thin orig brown pattern with scattered light surface rust. Receiver & lockplates have traces of silvered case colors with the balance a dark brown patina. Lockplates & stock do not fit very well. Wood shows extreme heavy wear with only traces of the orig checkering pattern and has a dark patina. Mechanics are fine d. Dark, heavily pitted bores. 5-60362 JR85 (400-700)
