AFRICAN CARVED BUST SIGNED GIDI. 20th century. This expressive carving of either a Matabele or Zulu warrior from the Zambezi River region. The bust carved with the name “GIDI”. Offered on a slate stand. SIZE: 7″h. CONDITION: Carving with all original surfaces. Old vertical shrinkage crack from base of left shoulder to the scalp on left side.
