LOUIS XVI STYLE WALNUT BERGERE EN CABRIOLET. Late 19th, early 20th Century. This caned arm chair with arched and curved crest rail carved with layered leaf tips, the crest with bow tied ribbon, continuing downwards to arms, the grips carved with leaf tips and scrolled volutes on incurved supports, centering a shaped cane seat and back, raised on tapered cylindrical legs with stop-fluting. The seat with bowed rail. SIZE: Height of back is 31″. Height of seat is 15″. CONDITION: In original condition, the frames caned, caning original. No restoration or repairs noted. 9-97613 (200-300)
