*ENGRAVED PARKER TROJAN DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN 227955. Wonderfully engraved by Neil Hermsen with 28″ bbls choked FULL/IMP-CYL with concave matted rib & sgl bead. It has dbl triggers & extractors. Custom wood is highly figured American walnut with checkered splinter forearm & pistol grip stock, 14-3/8″ over a black, Larry Del Grego waffle pad. Receiver is engraved in Bulino style bank note patterns with scenes of two Canada geese on the left side, two flying mallards on the right side & a Labrador retriever head on the floor plate, surrounded by intertwined, beautifully executed foliate, floral & arabesque pattern engraving with about 80% coverage. Forend iron, opening lever, top tang & trigger guard are engraved to match. Receiver & opening lever are in the white. Accompanied by a Parker letter identifying this shotgun as having been shipped August 29, 1928. Weight: 6 lbs. 8.8 oz. CONDITION: As noted, extremely fine. Retains virtually all of its custom finish to both metal & wood. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bores. 5-60330 JR54 (2,500-5,000)
