*PARKER NH GRADE DAMASCUS CROSSOVER DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 10 ga. SN 135735. Rare grade Parker built on a #3 frame with 32″ twist steel bbls having matted, tapered, concave rib with sgl bead, doll’s head, extractors & dbl triggers. Stock, probably an old replacement, is severely offset to the right for a left eye dominant right hand shooter and is 13-1/2″ LOP over a checkered butt. Stock is very nicely figured Claro walnut & the forearm is American walnut. Accompanied by a Parker letter identifying this shotgun as having been shipped July 16, 1906 to the Tryon Co. of Philadelphia. The only mention of the stock is that it is capped pistol grip that had a 14-1/4″ LOP with 3″ drop at the heel & weighed 9 lbs. 10 oz. Current weight is 9 lbs. 6.2 oz. CONDITION: As noted, very fine. Bbls retain 95-98% orig twist pattern with minor nicks. Receiver retains 20-25% faded case colors with the balance turned silver. Wood is sound with the stock retaining most of its custom finish with minor nicks & scratches. Forearm shows moderate wear with some dark oil staining near the back end.
