D KINGSLAID (American, 20th Century) “HUNTER’S POINT”. Oil on masonite west coast scene depicts a coastal tannery with several connected buildings on hillside. Three men are seen on hillside with triangular hides. A sailboat has been pulled ashore and the coastline has cliffs and mountains. Signed bottom right “D Kingslaid 1880″ and titled lower left. Housed in a gilt gesso decorated frame. SIZE: 11″ x 18-1/2”. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Geraldine Gaba, Scottsdale, AZ. CONDITION: Very good with a couple of small nicks. 9-94812 (500-1,000)
