*PARKER PH GRADE DBL BBL DAMASCUS SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 115455. Built on a #2 frame with 29-7/8″ Damascus twist bbls choked FULL/FULL with matted concave tapered rib, sgl bead, extractors & dbl triggers. Lightly engraved receiver & trigger guard. Wood is nicely figured American walnut with checkered splinter forearm & pistol grip stock, 14-1/4″ over a dog’s head buttplate. Accompanied by a Parker letter indicating shipment on February 17, 1903. Letter indicates it was a hammer gun when it obviously is hammerless. Weight: 7 lbs. 11.2 oz. CONDITION: Very good. Bbls retain most of their orig blue/brown twist pattern. Receiver retains 25-30% case colors with the balance turned silver. Wood is sound with usual nicks, dings & scratches and retains 75-80% of an old restored finish. Good mechanics, bright shiny bores. 5-60338 JR62 (1,000-2,000)
