*PARKER GH GRADE HAMMERLESS DBL BBL DAMASCUS SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 183012. Built on a 1-1/2 frame with 27-15/16″ Damascus bbls with matted concave tapered rib with sgl bead & doll’s head, with extractors & dbl triggers. Receiver has typical “G” engraving of ducks on the left side, partridge on the right side & pheasants on the bottom, surrounded by light arabesque patterns. Wood is very nicely figured, dark, American walnut with checkered splinter forearm & pistol grip stock, 14-1/4″ over dog’s head buttplate. Accompanied by a Parker factory letter indicating shipment March 11, 1919 to Rogers Pect Co. of New York City. Weight: 7 lbs. 1.4 oz. CONDITION: Good. Bbls have been cleaned & retain 60-70% orig pattern with some scattered fine pitting. Receiver retains traces of case colors being mostly a cleaned gray patina. Stock has a hairline back of the top tang, otherwise is very dark with usual light handling & use marks & retains most of what appears to be orig varnish finish.
