TWO STAFFORDSHIRE PRATT TYPE TOBY JUGS. 19th century. Depicting gentlemen in blue coat, the first with clay pipe, the second with orange-brown pants. SIZE: 10″ h; 9″ h respectively. PROVENANCE: From a fine Texas Estate. CONDITION: The first with general craquelure, possible touch-ups to paint in hat and with shallow rim chips on top rim. The second with areas of general abrasion around top rim and spout and losses to glazed areas around base. Otherwise good. 9-22968 (400-600)
