PARKER G GRADE DAMASCUS DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 64984. Built on a #1 frame with 30″ Damascus bbls choked IMP-CYL/IMP-CYL with matted rib, dbl ivory beads, and doll’s head extension, extractors & dbl triggers. Receiver is typically “G” engraved with geese on the left side, pheasants on the right side & partridge on the bottom, all surrounded with light border patterns & scattered arabesque engraving. Borders have some small extra flourishes. Wood is beautifully grained crotch cut American walnut with checkered splinter forearm & pistol grip stock, 13-3/4″ over a dog’s head buttplate. Drop at the heel 3″, drop at the comb 1-5/8″. Weight: 7 lbs. 8.6 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain 96-98% orig strong blue/brown pattern with slight muzzle edge wear & a minor nick or two. Receiver retains about 80% strong orig case colors, faded to silver on the front end. Wood is sound with minor nicks & scratches and retains most of its orig varnish.
