*PARKER GH GRADE DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 16 ga. SN 229361. Built on a #1 frame with 28″ special steel bbls choked FULL/MOD with matted rib, sgl bead, and doll’s head extension, extractors & dbl triggers. Receiver is engraved in typical “G” patterns with vignettes of flying ducks on the left side, pheasants on the right side & pheasants on the floorplate, surrounded by light border & arabesque patterns. Wood is very nicely figured American walnut with checkered splinter forearm & pistol grip stock, reduced to 13-3/4″ over a medium dog’s head buttplate. Weight: 6 lbs. 8.7 oz. CONDITION: As noted, very fine plus. Bbls retain 96-97% strong orig blue with a couple of small chemical spots and a couple of spots of discoloration on the left bbl. Receiver retains traces of case colors in the sheltered areas with the balance turned silver. Wood is sound with minor nicks & scratches and retains most of its orig varnish.
