INLAID LACQUERED FOLDING DESK. 3rd quarter 19th century. Sloping hinged lid decorated with a gilt painted and abalone floral spray within a scrolling gilt decorated and abalone border. Opening to a baise writing surface and fitted with inkwell and pen tray on a molded base having curved feet. SIZE: 4″ h x 13″ w x 10″ d. CONDITION: Structurally very good with some wear to gilted and painted surfaces on lid with craquelure overall. 9-22860 (250-400)
