*PARKER GH GRADE DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN 199907. Built on an “O” frame with 27″ special steel bbls that appear to be orig length choked IMP-MOD/MOD with matted rib, sgl bead, and doll’s head extension, extractor & dbl triggers. Receiver is engraved with usual “G” patterns consisting of vignettes of ducks on the left side, partridge on the right side & pheasants on the floorplate surrounded by scalloped border patterns & light foliate arabesque patterns. It has the maker’s name engraved in each side vignette. Wood is very highly figured Claro walnut with checkered splinter forearm & pistol grip stock, 13-1/2″ over a dog’s head buttplate. Drop at the heel 3-1/8″, drop at the comb 1-1/2″. Weight: 6 lbs. 3.3 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine plus. Bbls retain 96-97% strong bright orig blue with minor muzzle edge wear, a tiny scrape & slight thinning on the side of the right bbl. Receiver retains 94-96% strong bright orig case colors with light edge wear & some minor flaking on the bottom. Stock has two hairlines back of the top tang, otherwise the wood is sound with minor handling & use marks & retains virtually all of its strong orig factory finish.
