*SCARCE PARKER PH GRADE DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 410. SN 217502. Built on an OOO frame with 26″ Parker steel bbls choked MOD/MOD with matted rib, sgl bead, and extractor & dbl triggers. Receiver is lightly engraved with fine border & light arabesque patterns. Wood is very nicely figured straight grain walnut with checkered splinter forearm & rnd knob semi-pistol grips stock, 14-1/4″ over a dog’s head buttplate with a silver initial shield on the bottom. The bbl address appears to have been re-marked with the “STEEL” and rear arrow engraved rather than rolled. In fact, the word should be SPECIAL STEEL and not simply “STEEL”. The receiver, opening lever & floorplate have been upgrade engraved and the water table grade marking welded over and the “P” over stamped. Drop at the heel 2-7/8″, drop at the comb 1-3/4″. Weight: 5 lbs. 5.0 oz. CONDITION: Very fine. Overall retains most of a nice professionally restored finish to both metal & wood. Stock has a hairline back of the top tang, otherwise the wood is sound. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bores. 5-60512 JR164 (6,000-10,000)
