REMINGTON NEW MODEL POLICE CONVERSION REVOLVER. Cal. 38RF. Nickel finish, 3-1/2” oct bbl, usual markings with 2-pc walnut grips. This revolver, along with another similar item in this auction, according to the consignor, was owned by his grandfather when he was employed by the Grand Trunk Railway Security Circa 1882. SN 2169. CONDITION: Good to very good. Retains 65-70% nickel finish overall, thin on the frame, brown on the grip frame. Grips are sound and retain about 95% original varnish.
