*COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. 44 WCF (44-40). SN 290400. Blue & case colored with 5-1/2″ bbl, 1-line block letter address with roll mark “COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER”. It has rampant Colt with circle & 2-line patent dates & rampant Colt hard rubber grips. Please note: Accompanying this lot will be a Colt factory letter showing shipment of this gun to Copper Queen Consolidated Mining in Bisley, Arizona Territory on March 11, 1907, in a shipment of 6 guns. CONDITION: About good. Traces of orig finish remain in very sheltered areas, being overall a cleaned gray patina showing moderate muzzle edge wear & slightly battered hammer screw. Cross bolt & base pin are replacements. Grips probably did not come on this gun but are sound, fit reasonably well & show heavy wear to both sides. Mechanics are fine, strong sharp bore with fine pitting. 4-57513 JR269 (2,500-3,500)
