*PARKER MODEL SC SGL BBL TRAP GUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 236434. Beautiful sgl bbl trap with 30″ bbl with matted ventilated rib with dbl ivory beads & ejector. Receiver is beautifully engraved with sweeping scrolls of arabesque patterns with a flying pigeon on the floorplate. Wood is very nicely grained center crotch cut American walnut with checkered beavertail forearm & straight stock, 14″ over a solid red recoil pad. Accompanied by its orig 2-pc. brown cardboard box with black & white end label giving the entire specifications for this shotgun. Also accompanied by a Parker letter indicating that it was shipped April 13, 1934. Drop at the heel 1-5/8” , drop at the comb 1-1/8”. Weight: 7 lbs. 13.2 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as new. Has been fired but very little, retaining virtually all of its orig factory finish to both metal & wood. Bbl blue is strong & bright and the case colors are brilliant. Wood has one or two minor nicks & scratches and the trigger guard is slightly flaked. Crisp mechanics, brilliant shiny bore. 5-60403 JR116 (5,000-8,000)
