CINNABAR DISH. 19th century, China. Foliated shape with decoration of dragons, pearls and floral scrolls. Dark red color. Base with four of the “eight precious emblems” and a 6-character Ch’ien Lung mark on a diapered ground. Brass edge and foot rim. SIZE: 9″ dia. CONDITION: Chip to lacquer beneath brass rim on upper edge, otherwise very good with deep rich color and patina. 7-73907 (200-300)
