AMERICAN VICTORIAN WALNUT MARBLE TOP HALL STAND. Third quarter 19th century. The reticulated and pierce carved walnut stand with arched molded crest fitted with an arrangement of 8 turned pegs centering an oval mirrorplate within a molded frame continuing to a medial marble shelf above a single glove drawer flanked by molded umbrella and a walking stick holders on turned supports. The bottom shelf fitted with cast iron scallop shell drip pans. SIZE: 84″ h x 32″ w x 15″ d. PROVENANCE: From an Ellsworth, Maine Estate. CONDITION: Structurally very good with original marble and pans. Stand retains original surfaces with good color and patina. 9-21966 (400-600)
