*SCARCE PARKER BHE GRADE DAMASCUS DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 153380. Built on a scarce 1-1/2 frame with 28″ fine pattern Damascus bbls choked FULL/MOD, matted rib, sgl bead, and doll’s head extension, ejectors & dbl triggers. Receiver is beautifully engraved with vignettes of two pointers on point on the left side, two setters on point on the right side & a very detailed scene of a stag & hind in a woodland scene on the floorplate. Trigger bow has the vignette of a pointer & two pheasants in a field scene. Wood is very nicely grained American walnut with checkered splinter forearm & pistol grip stock, with raised checkered fleur-de-lis side panels, 14″ over a skeleton buttplate with checkered center. Hard rubber grip cap is inlaid with a gold oval. Drop at the heel 2-5/8”, drop at the comb 1-3/8”. Weight: 7 lbs. 1.4 oz. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbls retain 93-95% gray/brown Damascus pattern with some thinning over the forearm area. They have minor scratches & a ding on the rib. Receiver retains about 50% orig case colors faded to silver on the front end, stronger in the sheltered areas. Wood is sound & retains most of a professionally restored finish. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bores with some very fine orange peel. 5-60409 JR120 (5,000-10,000)
