BRONZE SCULPTURE OF ALEJANDRO VOLTA. Circa 1927. This sculpture is a reproduction of the statue of Alejandro Volta, inventor of the electric battery. The original casting by Valmore Gemignani (Italian, 20th Century) is at the University of Buenos Aires. SIZE: Statue is 19″ h. Overall including plinth is 21″ h. CONDITION: Bronze is in very good condition with original surfaces and mellow brown patina. 9-20149 (500-800)
