GERMAN PORCELAIN CENTERPIECE DECORATED WITH YOUNG MUSICIANS. Late 19th/early 20th C with the anchor mark of “ERNST BOHNE SONS”. Of rectangular shape with D-formed ends. Decorated overall with ribbon-tied floral sprays in underglaze blue above a scaled apron. Each end surmounted by a naked child playing flute. SIZE: 6-3/4″H x 9-3/4″L x 6-1/2″W PROVENANCE: From a private Connecticut home.
