UNSIGNED (American, 19th Century) LAKE AND MOUNTAIN NEW ENGLAND LANDSCAPE. Oil on canvas panoramic scene shows a large lake surrounded by forest and fields. Several sailboats are seen in distance with a small boat with three people on the right side. Fall colors are seen on some trees and round top mountains are seen in the background beyond a low plain. Blue and light sky with clouds over mountains. Unsigned. Housed in its original gilt flower decorated gesso frame which has some chipping. SIZE: 18” x 25”.
