RARE HANS ERBEL STRAWBRIDGE & CLOTHIER TRUCK. Perhaps the best of the store name trucks, this example also comes with its original box and shipping label pasted to exterior. The toy as well as the box have the trademark of Hans Erbel emblazoned upon them. Residing in a private residence for many years, this fresh to the market attic find is a must have for any collector who fancies advertising moving trucks. Overall condition is very fine, however vertical wear marks are present on roof, most likely this was “box wear”. SIZE: 8″ long. CONDITION: Very fine plus with crazing to lithography and hand painted frame. Very minor straightening needed to frame. Box is intact but shows fair amount of wear, especially to flaps. 1-7841 (2,500-4,500)
