JADE VASE. 18th century, China. Probably Ch’ien Lung Period (1736-1795). Greenish celadon colored stone. Archaic scrolled handles. Surface finely carved with taotieh masks. SIZE: 4-5/8″ l. PROVENANCE: Acquired from a Massachusetts family that had China trade and banking interests in the 18th and 19th centuries, Boston. CONDITION: Very good. 7-70349 (800-1,200)
