OUTSTANDING LARGE NANTUCKET BASKET BY MITCHELL RAY. Squared wood swing handle centered on a large oval finely made Nantucket basket having a wood oval bottom. Base signed with a label “Made by Mitchell Ray, Nantucket, Mass” which shows wear. Nice old patina. SIZE: 7-1/4” h without handle; 13” h with handle x 14-1/2” x 11-1/2”. CONDITION: 4” section of the top edge wrap is missing, otherwise very good. 9-28457 (3000-5000)
