*L.C. SMITH IDEAL GRADE DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN FW150775. Hunter Arms featherweight dbl with 28″ bbls choked FULL/IMP-CYL with concave matted rib, sgl ivory bead, extractors and sgl non-selective trigger. Trigger plate is marked “HUNTER ONE TRIGGER” but does not have the selector button. It has nicely figured American walnut wood with black tipped, checkered, splinter forearm and capped semi-pistol grip stock, 14″ over the orig hard rubber buttplate. Lockplates have the standard foliate engraving patterns with light foliate patterns scattered elsewhere. Drop at the heel 2-3/4″, drop at the comb 1-1/2″. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain 96-98% strong orig blue. Receiver retains about 50% orig case colors, brilliant in the sheltered areas. Lockplates retain about 90% orig case colors, stronger on the right side. Wood is sound and retains 95-97% strong bright orig varnish with light scratches, nicks & dings. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bores. Roger & Gerald Wilde Collection 4-55384 JR4 (1,000-1,500)
