FINE CASED ENGLISH STERLING & BONE FISH SET. Maker’s mark “GH”, Sheffield, 1928. The walnut case marked “Catchpole & Williams”. Set consisting of twelve 7-3/4″ knives; twelve 6-3/4″ 4-Tyne forks. The handles are polished bone with a yellow patina. The pieces marked with English hallmarks. Knife blades having engraved decoration of net trap with fish swimming. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection (F.W. Woolworth Dept. Store). CONDITION: Silver is very good, bone with some age cracks & discoloration. Case in generally very good condition. 9-21821 (300-500)
