*CHARLES LANCASTER MINIATURE DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 410. SN 14634. Diminutive dbl with 28-1/8″ bbls choked MOD/MOD. With smooth concave tapered rib, sngl bead, and dbl lump with extractor & dbl triggers. Maker’s name is on the right bbl and “LONDON” on the left bbl. Tiny receiver has fine line borders with light scallops & arabesque patterns. It is mounted in highly figured English walnut with checkered tiny splinter forearm & straight stock, 14″ over a checkered horn buttplate. It has “SAFE” engraved on the top tang. Drop at the heel 2-3/16″, drop at the comb 1-3/8:. Weight: 4 lbs, 4.5 oz. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbls retain 95-97% strong bright orig blue with only slight muzzle edge & breech edge wear. Receiver retains about 50-60% orig case colors, fading to silver, strong & bright near the rear edge. Wood is sound with minor nicks & scratches and retains most of an English style restoration.
