*BERETTA MODEL 687EELL OVER/UNDER 2-BBL TRAP SET. Cal. 12 ga. SN E80680B. Beautiful trap set with 29-1/2″ superposed bbls & a 32″ over sgl bbl. Both have wide flat matted ribs with dbl beads, screw chokes, ejectors, and adjustable sgl selective trigger. It is mounted with extremely beautiful highly figured Circassian walnut with a checkered rnd beavertail forearm & heavy pistol grip stock, 14-1/2″ over its orig brown waffle trap pad. Sideplates & receiver are beautifully engraved by Bottega C. Giovanelli with vignettes of a flock of mallards on the left side, flying quail on the right side and a woodcock on the bottom, all surrounded by very fine foliate arabesque patterns. Standing breech is dbl relief scalloped with foliate & floral engraving patterns and it has the maker’s name on both sides and the bottom. Engraver’s signature is on the left side of the trigger plate. Accompanied by two plastic Beretta cases & three spare chokes with stock tool & hang tangs. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as new except for fine hairline in wrist. Has been fired but retains virtually all of its orig factory finish to both metal & wood with only a minor nick or two in the stock finish. Crisp action, bright shiny bores.
