*CASED PERAZZI MX8 SUPERPOSED TRAP GUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 45894. Fine trap gun with 32″ bbls choked FULL/IMP-MOD, with high, serrated ventilated rib with dbl beads and ventilated side ribs. It has ejectors & removable sgl, non-selective trigger. It is mounted in very nicely figured, light colored walnut wood with checkered grasping groove beavertail forearm and Monte Carlo stock with raised side panels & pistol grip, 14-5/8″ over the orig brown waffle trap pad. Receiver is nicely scalloped without engraving. Accompanied by an orig, Perazzi, black plastic, red velvet lined, takedown case with a spring replacement kit including two spare springs, two firing pins & a tool. There is also a third spare spring. Also accompanied by a custom made spare stock by B.E. Barrett of Rye, NH that has raised side panels with pistol grip and rollover cheek piece and is about 15″ over a Morgan adjustable pad. Consignor states that prior to storing the shotgun he releases the tension on the hammer springs and removes the trigger group and the entire time he’s owned it, since it was new, he has never had a broken spring. Bore restrictions: left – .042, right – .022. CONDITION: Very fine to extremely fine. Bbls retain 98-99% strong orig blue. Receiver retains 85-90% bright orig case colors, worn thin on the bottom. Stock has a hairline back of the top tang, otherwise the wood is sound and retains most of its orig factory varnish with minor nicks & scratches. Mechanics are fine, brilliant shiny bores. Spare stock shows light to moderate wear with minor nicks & scratches and retains about 85% strong finish. 4-56500 JR575 (2,500-4,000)
