*FN MODEL 27 SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN L13RP01832. Beautiful Belgian made Browning without the Browning name that has 28″ vent rib bbls choked IMP-MOD/IMP-CYL with narrow matted rib, sgl bead, ejectors & sgl selective trigger. Receiver has full coverage extremely fine game scene engraving with large vignettes of two flying pheasant on the left side in a field scene, three quail on the right side and a mallard duck on the trigger plate, all surrounded by beautiful foliate arabesque patterns. Trigger bow has the Browning deer head logo and all of the metal, except the bbls, is coin finished. Wood is straight grain walnut with checkered semi-schnable tip forearm and pistol grip stock, 14-1/4″ over a Browning black composition buttplate. CONDITION: Extremely fine plus. Has been fired, but retains virtually all of its bright orig factory finish. Stock has a grain check on the left side by the receiver, otherwise the wood is sound with minor nicks & scratches.
