*FN BROWNING MODEL B26 SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN L13RP04277. Fine Browning made for the European market with 28″ vent rib bbls choked IMP-MOD/IMP-CYL with narrow matted rib, sgl bead, ejectors & sgl selective trigger. It is mounted in straight grain European walnut with coarse checkered schnable tip forearm & pistol grip stock, 14-1/8″ over a black Browning composition buttplate. Receiver is coin finished with large vignettes of a European hunting scene with a hunter, dog & hare in a field scene on the left side, three flying quail on the right side & a flying mallard on the trigger plate, all surrounded by sweeping, very well executed, foliate arabesque patterns. Engraver’s signature “R Baptiste” appears on the right side of the trigger plate. Trigger guard has the Browning deer head logo. Accompanied by its orig black 2-pc, Styrofoam lined, cardboard box with red & black end label. Bore restrictions: over – .020, under – .013. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as new. Appears to be unfired with only a minor scrape from the ejectors on the standing breech. Wood has one or two minor handling marks, otherwise retains about all of its orig finish.
