*FINE PIOTTI DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN 6436. Built on a boxlock action with 26″ bbls choked MOD/CYL with smooth tapered concave rib, sgl bead, ejectors, dbl lump & dbl triggers. Mounted with nicely figured European or Circassian walnut with checkered splinter forearm & straight stock, 14-13/16″ over a checkered butt. Receiver is triple scallop boxlock with coin finish and has about 85% coverage, very well executed foliate arabesque pattern engraving. Trigger guard & forend iron have light flourishes of arabesque patterns. Drop at the heel 1-7/8″, drop at the comb 1-1/4″. Bore restrictions: left – .018, right – .005. Weight: 5 lbs. 9.3 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine, near new. May have been fired but if so, very little. Retains virtually all of its orig factory finish to both metal & wood with very minor mars in the wood finish.
