*MARLIN MODEL 1893 SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal. 30-30. SN A7567. Standard carbine with 20” bbl, square base German silver front sight and carbine ladder rear sight. It has two bbl bands with case colored receiver and nicely figured American walnut stock and forearm with straight grip and carbine buttplate. The left side of the receiver has a staple and ring. The ring has been wrapped with string. CONDITION: Extremely fine, about new. Retains virtually all of its original factory finish to both metal and wood. Case colors are brilliant on the receiver and tangs, slightly faded on the lever. Buttplate retains about 90% original bright blue. Wood has minor handling & storage nicks.
