*CASED RIZZINI MODEL S792EMEL OVER/UNDER 3-BBL SET. Cal. .410, 28 ga., 20 ga. SN 16464. Wonderful lightweight hunting gun with 27-5/8″ vent rib superposed bbls with sgl bead, ejectors & sgl selective trigger. It is mounted with spectacular marble cake honey & chocolate French walnut wood with three rounded field style forearms and rnd knob pistol grip stock, 14″ over a checkered butt. Receiver & sideplates are very beautifully engraved in bank note style by “Creative Art” with the vignette of a flying quail in a hilly scene on the left side, two flying snipe in a marsh scene on the right side and a woodcock in a woodland scene on the bottom, all surrounded by about 30% coverage very fine arabesque patterns. Opening lever has pierced engraving. Left sideplate has the maker’s name and the right sideplate “MARCHENO”. Trigger plate is pantograph engraved “LOVE DAD” and the trigger bow “LT JR”. The engraver’s signature is on the trigger plate. The .410 bbls are choked IMP-CYL/IMP-CYL while the 28 ga. & 20 ga. bbls are choked MOD/IMP-CYL. Accompanied by orig maroon leather, burgundy red felt lined trunk case with compartments for all three bbls with forearms, the stocked receiver plus three sets of gold-plated snap caps. Drop at the heel 2-1/16″, drop at the comb 1-3/8″. Weight with 28 ga. bbls: 6 lbs. 4.9 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine, has been fired. Retains virtually all of its orig factory finish to both metal & wood. Stock has a minor mar or two in the finish with some dulling around the wrist, otherwise the finish is bright & shiny.
