*RARE MARLIN MODEL 1893 TRAPPER CARBINE. Cal. 32 H.P.S. (32 Win Spcl.). SN 193230. Rare 15” carbine with full magazine, silver blade square base front sight and carbine ladder rear sight. The receiver has a staple and ring in the left side and it has straight grain walnut wood with straight stock and carbine buttplate. Accompanied by a Treasury Dept. Form 4467, dated November 29, 1968, identifying this rifle and registering it to Mr. Owens. This carbine is now considered a curio & relic. CONDITION: Good to very good. Bbl retains about 90% dull original blue and the magazine tube is a light blue/brown patina. Receiver retains traces of silvered case hardening, otherwise is a silver/gray patina. Stock has a pin through the wrist and the forearm has a hairline crack and overall retains a smooth hand polished patina. A couple of the smaller screws are battered. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bore. 4-52480 JR264 (2,000-3,500)
