PAIR OF SECOND EMPIRE CAST BRONZE AND MARBLE CANDELABRA. Second half of the 19th century. Each four-light, three-armed candelabrum cast with three scrolling arms each hung with chain. The tapering, cylindrical, dark gray marble shaft fitted with an ormolu band, joined to pendant drops, continuing to a cast bronze circular base, raised on three paw feet and mounted on a round marble plinth SIZE: 23″h. CONDITION: Very good overall, the gilt brass somewhat tarnished. Some chains need reattachment. 9-22573 (400-600)
